see I had 2 mics for lips but now I have lost one but I also need another mic so I am gonna have to buy the whole game package right?

the answer is no unfortunately but the kicker with that is the GH is not compatible with lips but the lips is compatible with the GH WT and Metallica sets. It has to be the Xbox 360 wireless microphone. IDK why Microsoft made it this way, but you might be able to get just the wireless mic somewhere...The GH mic wont work because one is made by Microsoft and one is made by Activision. No compatibility whatsoever.

personally, if its not a specialty mic, then it should be compatible with the game, as it looks like its just a usb connected mic,
Note: Both mics are the same except for the design of them
