By infect I mean an afte I don-t know how to spell it or what it's called it's a kind of mouth sore. I would like to know how to not get one, I'm using Synthol but if someone has a better remedy please do share.

Well i have braces to, and if its inside your mouth try putting wax over the part thats cutting you.. If its not that swish with warm water and salt or swish cold water. If it still bothers you after a week see a dentist.
