Ive seen this a lot between straight women and gay men who are really close friends. I was wondering because you usually dont see two close friends who are both straight women kissing. Why do gay men like to kiss theyre straight bestfriends?Why do gay men kiss straight women on the lips?

I know families that kiss lightly on the lips instead of the cheeks . . . it always weirded me out because I was raised to see lip kisses as somewhat intimate. But many people see it just the same as just kissing someone on the cheek, or slapping them on the back or whatever the kids are doing these days in greeting and farewells.
Some people grow up kissing their parents on the lips. It is very natural to them. It is just a loving gesture. And some men are very close to their mothers. It is not just gay men that kiss their women friends on the lips.
Because it's obvious that there's no sexual connection, so it's okay to kiss on the lips.

I don't know, but every time I see it happen I'm saddened that a gay man has kissed more women than I ever have.
