I have really bad chapped lips what can i use..chap stick doesnt work?

.Ive gone to the dermatologist but nothing seems to workI have really bad chapped lips what can i use..chap stick doesnt work?
ok the exact same thing happened to my cousin and this remedy began to work with in a week and then lasted 4 weeks she put vaseline on (alot) before bed all around the mouth even the bits that are not chapped this prevents chapping , in the morning get some warm water on a piece of cotton wool and wipe the parts where the vaseline was then put your chap stick on like you usually would do then in mid afternoon put body moisture's on the chapped areas don't go inside your mouth not tasty lol make sure its one for sensitive skin my cousin used coconut oil :)

then repeat this every day for 4 weeks then stop and just do the vaseline thing every time you think that it may flare up again but not the other stuff until you get a proper flare up :)

take a picture before and after the treatment you will see an improvement xxI have really bad chapped lips what can i use..chap stick doesnt work?
Vaseline or balm - Apply lip balm frequently, especially before going out in cold, dry weather. Avoid flavored lip balms that can tempt you into lip licking.

Sunscreen - Because sun exposure can dry and burn the skin, use a lip cream or balm containing sunscreen to protect the lips from harmful rays.

Lip licking - Avoid licking your lips. Saliva evaporates quickly and digests the thin membrane protecting lips, leaving lips drier than before you licked them.

Hydrate - Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Dehydration typically results in chapped lips.

Humidify - Use a humidifier or place a pot of water on a radiator to add moisture to the surrounding air.

Don鈥檛 smoke - Smoking will constantly evaporate any natural oils on the lips.

For severe cases where the preceding six tips are not helpful consider:

Consultation - persistent chapped lips may indicate an underlying problem, such as a vitamin deficiency, fungal infection or allergic reaction.

Hydrocortisone - Applying a small amount of an over-the-counter strength hydrocortisone cream may decrease lip inflammation enough so that lip cream or balm can be effective.

Rosen鈥檚 ointment - A pharmacist can prepare a severe chapped lip treatment called 1-2-3 ointment or Rosen鈥檚 ointment. While this mixture is extremely protective and healing, it is typically undesired due to its white color.
You may have something like Angular Chelitis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angular_che鈥?/a>

Try an anti-fungal. Yes, Monistat would be fine because it is an anti-fungal. Because it's a fungus you'll need to throw out anything you have been using on your lips because it just reinfects the area.

Try applying an anti-fungal, then moisturize with something using your pinky. Do not touch the area and then touch the product again. Chapstick is too waxy. Use Vaseline or body lotion.
ok well for your lips try and drink some water bc if you lips are really chapped that means your body is not hydrated and around your lips I don't know about that you should like see a doctor tell him or her everything you did for it and tell him or her everything you have done is not working
Try vaseline, this works well.
Vaseline
